On 5th February 1941, Flying Officer STANISLAW CZTERNASTEK was returning from a Circus bomber escort operation, flying Hurricane I V7598 Code: KW-U , when, in thick fog, he collided with another Hurricane (V6618) piloted by P/O. Bronislawa Wydrowski
Mieczyslaw Stanislaw Marcinkowski was born on 24th February 1919 in Rytwiany in the Staszow district of Poland.
On 11th May 1941, 302 (Polish) Squadron were returning from a patrol in darkness. Porucznik (Pilot) Aleksander Ryszard Narucki was killed when his Hurricane WX-B Z3435 collided with Hurricane Z3433 flown by P/O Z Wróblewski as they came in to land at Kenley.
Tadeusz Nastorowicz hailed from Lodz in Poland, being born there on 1 May 1914. Little information is available on his early and any service with the Polish Air Force.
Wlodzimierz Michal Czech Samolinski was born in Poland in October 1916 and after school, joined the Polish Air Force where he conducted his training at Deblin. He then joined 122 Fighter Squadron in October 1938 as a 2nd Lieutenant.
