RAF Kenley Guided Walk

at RAF Kenley Tribute

This guided walk led by volunteers from the Kenley Revival Project will cover some of the amazing history, stories and accounts from pilots, servicemen and servicewomen at RAF Kenley, the most intact Fighter Command airfield associated with the Battle of Britain.

The tour will take just over two hours, starting at and returning to the Kenley Tribute (what3words – oddly.castle.fixed). The length of the route is approximately 2 miles. The surface is level hard-standing and grass which can be uneven in places, so please wear suitable footwear.

Free roadside parking is available in Hayes Lane (what3words – food.sulk.third), which is close to the RAF Kenley Tribute where the walk will commence.

There are no toilet or refreshment facilities available on the airfield.

Please remember that Kenley is an active airfield for gliders, so for your safety remain outside of the wooden safety fence unless the pedestrian gates are open.

Meeting point will be at the RAF Kenley Tribute (nearest entrance – Hayes Lane).

Please book your tickets on Eventbrite here.
