Airfields of Britain Conservation Trust

Information about airfields across the country can be found on the Airfields of Britain Conservation Trust website.

Despite what many people might say, Britain’s airfields are extremely popular. Exciting areas possessing uniquely indefinable atmospheres and infinite depth, anything but ’bleak’ or ’windswept’ as their detractors would have you believe.

The airfields of Britain matter. They have helped both their country and the entire world far beyond the call of duty. Time to help them for a change.

The Airfields of Britain Conservation Trust exists to advance the education of the public in the history of British airfields and in particular but not exclusively by:

  • The establishment and support of museums and interpretation centres
  • The preservation of the historical details and records of airfields
  • The erection of memorials at sites of National and historical importance
  • To promote research for the benefit of the public

RAF Kenley features on their website here.
