Check Your Paperwork: Check in advance that your timetable matches with what you recall booking. Mistakes can be easily amended in advance, but it is a lot harder to adapt on the day of your visit
Clothing and Footwear: Kenley is an open-air site, so dress for the weather. Bring waterproofs and hats are essentially when it's hot. Children need to have their legs and arms covered, because of possible tics in the long grass. Avoid sandals, as the ground is uneven, and wellies are the best footwear when it’s wet
Weather: Check the weather before your visit. We are likely to go ahead, unless weather is particularly severe
Facilities: There are no toilet facilities on the airfield. However, if you are booking one of our WWII workshops, you may be based in the Portcullis Club or in our classroom at Merlewood Estate Office, where there are toilets, and tables and chairs for lunch)
Public On-site: Our site is open to the general public at all times so be aware that dogs and cyclists use the same space.
