This is one of a series of pamphlets issued by the Army Bureau of Current Affairs. Their purpose was to promote discussion about citizenship, post-war reconstruction and the events of the war amongst Army personnel.
This edition of ‘War’ aims to answer questions and provoke discussion on the topic of the American daylight bombing campaign: its strategic importance and how a mission is carried out, as well as describing the jobs of the various crew members on board a ‘Flying Fortress.’
It belonged to Mr. L. Ridley, of Upper Selsdon Rd, Sanderstead and comes from the collection of Robin Grainger.
