Supporters and visitors of Kenley airfield can now nominate our fantastic heritage site in Historic England’s new campaign for the UK’s favourite 100 historic places.
We are promoting the airfield to be nominated under the ‘Loss and Destruction’ category because of its vital role in the Battle of Britain and its title as the UK’s best preserved WW2 airfield.
This category will be judged by classicist Mary Beard and nominations close on the 3rd December 2017.
