Special Screening of 'Angels One Five'
August 18, 2018 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM at David Lean Cinema
Join us at a screening of the classic ‘Angels One Five’ as part of the Kenley Revival Project which aims to preserve and protect the most intact fighter airfield from World War II.
The film, starring John Gregson, was the first British post-war film to deal with the Battle of Britain, playing as a young pilot joining a new squadron, Gregson, and his unconventional behaviour continues to annoy his superiors. One of the top ten films of 1952, this film was commended for the accuracy of its portrayal of RAF tactics.
Parts of ‘Angels One Five’ were filmed at Kenley Airfield, on the ground and inside some of the buildings.
Tickets are £5 — To book go online the David Lean website.
